The Watches & Wonders event in Geneva was a magical evening. It combined luxury, artistry, and innovation in one unforgettable experience. I had the honor of being the portrait artist for Montblanc, celebrating their stunning Iced Sea watch collection. The collection features five beautiful colors inspired by glacial landscapes.
Preparation: Building a Strong Foundation
To prepare for the event, I created customized postcards in advance. On the back of each postcard, I drew the Iced Sea bezel and a detailed reproduction of the full watch. This preparation ensured that the final drawings looked polished. It also allowed me to focus on the guests during the live sessions.
Personalization: A Touch of Uniqueness
The event was all about personalization. Guests selected their favorite Iced Sea watch color via a QR code. The collection’s five vibrant hues reflected its glacial inspiration. After choosing, guests wore the real Iced Sea watch on their wrist.
